Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Role Foundation:

To advance the brand’s digital footprint across the three pillars of the business; aligned with a solid strategic and commercial understanding to drive engagement across various channels through data led digital marketing.

Responsibilities & Competencies:

– Develop and take ownership of an integrated online digital marketing strategy aligned to the company’s strategic marketing plan

– Drive e-commerce by increasing web visibility, traffic, lead generation, conversion and retention

– Be skilled in PPC, paid search, SEO, email campaigns, blogs, forums and know how to use other social media to generate leads

– Identify and execute CRM initiatives to nurture repeat users and appeal to new users

– Manage the company website to improve the usability, design and content

– Manage and analyse digital campaigns, user retention and paid acquisition numbers with responsibility for the overall digital budget. Able to guide budget allocations to achieve an increase in transactional volumes and values

– Supervise weekly and monthly reporting for relevant stakeholders and be confident in presenting relevant insights, analyses and remedial actions against KPI, CoS and ROAS metrics

– Understanding of analytics and measuring of ROI whilst evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data

– Able to encourage innovation and inspire collaboration across the business whilst

recommending cross-promotion opportunities

– Implement interactive marketing communications

– Be enthusiastic about upskilling and continual learning to keep at the forefront of digital marketing applications

– Management of the direct to consumer channel segment until significant volume of active account base necessitates appointment of a dedicated channel manage

Requirements:

– Educated to degree level with digital marketing qualification

– Proven integrated digital marketing experience and conversant in all digital functions across SEO, PPC, SEM and affiliate programs

– FMCG marketing experience with a focus on digital marketing (wine knowledge and experience advantageous)

– Proven project management, organisational and analytical skills

– Experience and ability to develop and manage a budget

– Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice

– Experience in e-commerce and social media with a working knowledge of Google360 and a high competency in Google Analytics

– Proven d ata analysis and data manipulation experience in a similar role

– Strong communication competences with an aptitude for and skill in copywriting
